I didn't know Valkerie Hepworth very well, but what she did when her daughter Rachel Pont suffered a life-threatening illness speaks volumes. After raising her own family, she came to Rachel's rescue, moving into ther home in Sandy and taking care of four young, energetic grandchildren while Rachel underwent treatment. It was a privilege to know this good woman.

Valerie's sense of humor always surprised and delighted me! I enjoyed so much visiting with her the last few years and I am grateful to have had her as a good friend.
My Cousin, Valerie Hepworth is about 4 months older than me, but she was a year ahead of me in school. Valerie was a sweet, kind girl and the closest to my age of any of my girl cousins. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hepworth Family. Sonia Hunsaker Fisher, I grew up in Bedford, Wyoming.
Many years ago when we were in our twenties I believe, I worked with Valerie at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City. I really enjoyed her sweet spirit and we became friends. Over the years we lost track of each other as our lives took us to dofferent parts of the country. I thought of her often and was saddened by the news of her passing. She must be so happy right now!
My memories are of both Marva and Valerie when I was a young child. They lived the street over from us and I remember going and helping them clean. I remember how kind and how they always listened to us carefully. They made me and my siblings a Rageddy Ann and Andy dolls, which I think was supposed to be a secret, but somehow I knew it was them. They were very charitable. In my older years I remember running into Valerie at the store and catching up with her. They also knew about my Aunt Cheryl Hathaway who raised her family in Star Valley. Lots of memories from seeing them at church and also taking care of their mother. Wonderful individuals that left a good impression on me and my family. I miss seeing them. May the Lord continue to bless their family.

I will always remember Valarie. We grew up together in Grover WY. I would see het & & all her family every Sunday.Over the years we have kept in touch along with Marva. I will miss her.So thankful she is not suffering any more.
