Valora Magnuson Nolan's Obituary
Our dear Mother, Grandma, Sister and friend Valora Magnuson Nolan passed away at home April 18, 2013 in SLC, Ut at age 90. She was born to Charles & Ada Faye Magnuson August 5, 1922 in Castledale, Utah.
Valora married Alfred Milton Nolan on May 21, 1939 in Huntington, Utah and together they had 5 children. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1953 where they resided since. Valora was a very devote Jehovah Witness for over 60 years and served proudly in her ministry.
Valora is survived by daughter, Judith (Mark) Sawyer, (ID); siblings, Norma Paige (OR); Elda Brinkerhoff (UT); Jack Magnuson (UT); Gary Magnuson (UT); Ruth Christiansen (UT); grandchildren, Lloyd (Holly) Nolan (UT); Clint (Neely) Nolan (UT); Paul (Wendy) Nolan (AZ); Sharrie Nolan (UT); Douglas Nolan (UT); DarLin (Carlos) Sanchez (WA); Mark Larsen (CA); Janyce (Robert) Jones (WA); Terry Thompson, (WA); David (Amy) Thompson (WA); Candice Nolan (OR); Brandon Nolan (UT); and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Alfred Nolan; children, Shirley Smith, Butch Nolan, Lloyd Nolan, and Robert Nolan and siblings Bruce Magnuson, Paul Magnuson, Jenny Kaufman, and Twilia Clark.
Valora loved her family and friends very much and was loved by many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
