Verle Ross Walk's Obituary
Verle Ross Walk, long-time resident of Evanston, WY. July 20, 1941 – June 7, 2016. He was born in Salt Lake City to Ross & Shirley Walk Rhodes. Verle passed away peacefully at home in East Carbon, UT with his family by his side. He loved his many dogs, who were his world, leaving behind Yappy & Gizzy who were always full of kisses.
His other passions and hobbies, included piloting small aircraft, serving as a ham radio operator, and playing with computers. He made his career as a Machinist/Driveline Specialist for more than 40 years, until he retired from Six States in Evanston, WY. Verle enjoyed tinkering and building specialty tools and patenting equipment for use at work and was always helping fix equipment for family and friends.
Verle is survived by his sister Kate (Tom) Ramsay of Illinois; his children and step-children who he loved very much: Tandy (Sandy) Walk, Darlene (Bert) Rada, Candy (George) Bowerbank, Verle Ray (Teresa) Izatt, Lenard Higley, Tony (Tina) Bradley, Jan, Barb, and Lawrence Bradley; 21 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephew.
Proceeded in death by his parents, wife Bonnie, brother Lynn (Squeak), son Todd, and daughter Tamara Jean.
Graveside services will be held Saturday June 11, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Elysian Burial Gardens 1075 E. 4580 S. SLC, UT. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
