My long 4 hr. walks, with my sister Vicci and Sadie pulling us up the hills, were some of the most enjoyable moments we shared. But running up and down the Oregon/California coast and hiking up the many lighthouse trails as well as exploring the sea coasts for our treasured sea weed to make sea baskets gave us so many experiences of joy and laughter AFTER we took time out to reflect what we had done. It was quite often that Vicci would scale a grass covered hill ahead of me then wait to see how many holes I would fall in or get stuck in which necessitated her having to climb down to pull me out!
I will never be able to climb a lighthouse, scavenge shells for "doo dahs" or drag garbage bags full of sea weed off of a beach with the gusto and delight over a new-found treasures again without her.
She was a sister equal to no other. She is, and will always be, a huge part of my life now and forever.
