Vickie Burr Lindsay's Obituary
Vickie Lynn Burr Lindsay, age 67, of Springville, passed away June 6, 2012 at her home surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. Vickie was born July 16, 1944 to Kenneth E. and Vonda Kirk Burr. She graduated from American Fork High School in 1962. Later that year she married Forest Larry Giles on Aug. 11th and later divorced in 1982.In March 1999, she was married for time and eternity to her sweetheart Ed Lindsay in the Manti Temple. She worked at Geneva Steel for many years, then for the LDS Church at the Springville Facilities Management. Vickie loved her family, camping, and going to the temple. She is survived by her loving husband Ed, her children Tonie ( Mark) Lofgran, Kipper L. (Emily) Giles, Sam (Sherryn) Ray, her stepchildren Paul Lindsay, Nicole (Derek) Steel, Melinda Lindsay, Melanie Lindsay, 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 6 siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the LDS Chapel at 400 East 800 South, Springville, UT with a viewing prior to services at 10 am. Interment at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
