Vinnona Jones Langley's Obituary
Vinnona Jones Langley passed away surrounded by her family on January 2, 2020. Vinnona, or Vinny as she was known, was born in St. George, UT in 1944. She was born the youngest of five children to her mother, Reva. She had two brothers, Eddie Dee and Erwin Roy Jones and two sisters, Lavelle Hedgecock and Nelda Davidson. The time of her life that she remembered most fondly was when she lived in Modena, UT as a child, when her mother worked for the railroad.
She was proud to have returned to college later in life and receive her associates degree in Accounting. She was a brilliant poet, and talented seamstress, maker of dollhouses, and jewelry maker. She would do anything for her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sisters, five children, David Keller, Michelle Smith (Bill), Diana Alvarez, Robert Keller, and Misty Langley, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints meetinghouse at 5235 S Wesley Road in Murray, UT on Tuesday January 7th at 11 AM with a viewing at 10 AM.
Her burial services will be on Wednesday January 8, 2020 in Hurricane, UT at Hurricane City Cemetery 255 600 N. We would like to invite all who would like to attend, especially those who couldn't make it to Salt Lake, to a short graveside service at 1:00 PM.
