Viola Ann Huevonin Dimock's Obituary
Viola Ann Huevonin Dimock (AKA Anne Viola) was born on February 2, 1929. She passed away on January 28, 2019 at the age of 89. She was a hoot! She attended Red Lodge (Montana) high school and graduated as the valedictorian. She married John Bishop (Jack) Dimock, (deceased) a very handsome airman during the war, in 1948. They had two sons, John Dimock (deceased) and James Dimock (hanging in there.) Vi’s greatest love was golf! She golfed in rain, snow, sleet and sunny weather, and she particularly loved golfing with her son, James, even into her 80’s. She won several competitions at country clubs in the area, including the 1968 Club Championship at Alpine Country Club. She also loved traveling with her son, James, to her old haunts in Red Lodge, Montana. Yes, she could be a sweetheart, but don’t tell that to the bikers at a particular bar in Red Lodge, Montana. When she was there in her mid-80’s, she started talking about politics and almost caused a bar fight. As I said earlier, she was a hoot! We will miss you Vi! Viola’s ashes will be scattered in Montana. There will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nature Conservancy in Vi’s honor would be appreciated
