I am sorry for your loss. Though it has been many years since we had seen each other, Aunt Viva was always regarded very highly by all of her brothers, especially my father. Her accomplishments were inspirational to me as I grew to adulthood and the talk uncle Jarvis had with me after graduating high school remains one of my most treasured family memories. Thoughts of Viva and her family remind me of the importance of treating others with sincerity and concern, for the effects of our behavior reaches so much further than we can imagine. I love you all and wish you well going forward.

Vi was an especial friend and mentor of mine from Davis County School district. Her kind personality drew people to her and many people benefited through her continuous mentorship to those of us in education. Vi was thirty years my senior but she never made me feel like anyone but her peer and equal in education.
I taught school with Jarvis at Centerville Junior High School and carpooled with him until he died.
You had wonderful parents who were good examples of Christ's love. I share in your loss. Carol Greenwood

I would just like to send my condolences to your family. I was a visiting teacher to Vi for several years. I always enjoyed visiting with her. She had such great wisdom and strength and she always welcomed me into her home.
She was also one of our Relief Society teachers - she would teach once a month and her lessons were always the best. She had a great way of teaching us many important lessons. I always looked forward to the week when she would be teaching. I have such great admiration for your Mom. She was truly a remarkable woman. I'm sure you will miss her greatly.

my condolences to the Palmer family. Your mother was the most wonderful person i have met. I met Vi Palmer in the early fall of 1977 @ the alternative school.
