1932 - 2016
Vivian Louise Hofhines Kindred returned home to her Heavenly Father in the early hours of Christmas day. Born November 8, 1932 in Peoa Utah, the third of four children to Vivian Stoddard Drew and Wilma Bessie Salisbury. She loved her family and was a faithful member of the LDS church, serving in the Cub Scouts for many years. Married LaVell Hofhines, later divorced. Married Fred Kindred and they lived in Ogden. Was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother Melvin. Louise loved to travel and was always up for adventures.
Survived by her husband; three children, Sharon (Mike) Greenwood, Jenice Price, Brent (Debbie) Hofhines; step-children, Marlene (Darrell) Sluyters, and Scott (Rhonda) Kindred. Also survived by her nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday December 29th at 11 am, at the Mount Jordan 3rd Ward Building, (8950 S 400 E Sandy, UT). A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
