We were saddened to hear of Vivian’s passing from our family in Hawaii today. What a beautiful, kind, generous, and loving woman! We are so grateful for the friendship and kindnesses extended to us and our family over the years by the Holz family. You welcomed us to the neighborhood and into your lives. Vivian and I were visiting teaching companions and I always felt loved and listened to when I was with her; she had that kindly way about her. I always admired her femininity and soft voice too! David and I send our love to our good neighbors, the Holz family. Neill Marriott

From what I remember of Vivian, she was very soft spoken and very kind and sweet. I always thought she was just beautiful. We are sorry that we don't live closer, cousin Keith, so we could stop by and say hi and also attend the funeral. You have been blessed to have married such a sweet person.

Thank you, my dear sister-in-law, Vivian, for being such an amazing and wonderful wife to my brother, Keith. You have been a support to him and have stood strongly by his side for over 60 years! Wow! I remember once your telling me that while you two had been married something like 20 years that he had the responsibility to travel away from home for work for one half of that time. That means you were there holding down the home fort, caring for 4 children and bravely seeing to the home responsibilities for 10 years of that time. I know that you both missed each other incredibly while he was away, and you definitely made up for the time by enjoying each other, loving each other, traveling, and having lots of fun together when he was home.
Vivian, you have always been amazingly sweet and beautiful. Our family was incredibly lucky and blessed when you married Keith. You brought into our family a special calmness and a peaceful spirit that we have always cherished. Thank you for that. It means a lot to everyone around you, and to each of the many lives that you have touched. I know that Keith, your children and grandchildren dearly value your precious spirit with all of their hearts. We extend our love and prayers to each of them that they may feel peace knowing that you are finally out of your pain, and in a much better place now. Vivian, in the last year you told me several times that you missed your daddy tremendously, and wanted to be with him. I am so grateful that you are now in his arms, and in the arms of our Father in Heaven.

Such a beautiful woman! She always - ALWAYS invited me to stay for dinner. I will never forget her warm heart and friendly smile
Aunt Vivian wore artificial eyelashes WAYYYYY before everyone else - and looked gorgeous in them of course! I remember Aunt Vivian keeping all of us kids in order and making countless sandwiches and snacks and cleaning up after all of us only about a thousand times. I also remember working with Aunt Vivian cleaning out the refrigerator - the old kind that has ice build up in the freezer and we had to boil water in a pot and put it in the freezer and then wedge a knife in between the ice and the freezer and break it out. I also have fond memories of the fat giggler that we would "ride" and play on. You cousins remember what I'm talking about. The good ol days!
We are sending our love to the family and especially to Uncle Keith, who we know will miss Vivian terribly. We love you, Sabrina & Reed
