Wanda Squire Youngdell's Obituary
Wanda Squire Youngdell, 85, Passed away November 9, 2015 peacefully in her sleep.
Wanda was born May 25, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Grace Rushton Squire and Oliver Rulon Squire.
Wanda was a loving wife to John Henry Youngdell, (deceased), whom she met at a dance, fell in love. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1946. Wanda brought 10 beautiful children into this world. She was full of enthusiasm, she loved to dance and sing, overwhelmed with life and energy. Wanda loved to read and tell stories to the younger generation, her eyes would light up, her voice and facial expressions would change to fit each story perfectly.
Wanda is survived by her children Lucille (John), Leland (Shirley), Norman (Debra), Vicky (Joe), Janice (Larry), Julie, John (Stephanie), (Darlene), (Cindy); 42 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Yvonne; brothers; Lee O, Jack and Don. She is preceded in death by her husband John; children Leslie, Edwin, Rulon and sister DeLeen.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Spencer 4th Ward, 8481 West Breeze Drive, Magna, Utah where a viewing will be prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. A graveside service will be 12 Noon, Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South, 1300 West, West Jordan, Utah.
