Warren Fitzgerald Grant's Obituary
On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, Warren Fitzgerald Grant, beloved husband of Shauna Grant; loving father to five children, passed away after a short battle with cancer at the age of 58 in his home in Lehi, Utah. Known lovingly to family members as "Fitz" , his energetic spirit and zest for life will be greatly missed.
Warren was born on July 6, 1962 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of Berry and Gloria Grant.
He is survived by his wife, Shauna; his three children from his second wife (Kelly), Natalya Grant of Bedford, IN, Skylar (Kate-Lyn) Grant of Bloomington, IN, Nadia Grant of Bloomington, IN; his two children from his first wife (Sita), Nisha (Chase) Andersen of St. George, UT, and Nikki Wright of Hurricane, UT. He was also blessed with five grandchildren; Aiden, Zoey, Beamer, Bentley, and Arya; six step-children and ten step-grandchildren. He is survived by his parents, Berry Melvin and Gloria Faye Grant of Bloomington, IN, his brothers, Doug (Dawn) Grant of Green Bay, WI, David (Cindy) Israel of Mt. Vernon, IL, and sister, Martha (Ed) Smith of Bolingbrook, IL. Warren is preceded in death by his brother, Berry L. Grant.
Warren graduated from Naperville Central High School in Naperville, IL and then went on to attain a bachelor’s degree. For his entire career spanning more than 35 years, he worked in the medical engineering field with some of the most prestigious medical companies. He was very passionate about his career and loved what he did for a living.
Warren loved traveling and was able to explore many countries while working at his job. He enjoyed being in nature, exploring the great outdoors and was always up for a hike. In his earlier years, he was an avid Tennis fan, and enjoyed bicycling rides; both close to home and across the country. He loved spending time with his immediate and extended family members and always made a point to stay in touch and check in regularly. Family was very important to him.
Warren will be missed greatly and will be remembered for his outgoing personality, quirky jokes, huge smile, love of Mountain Dew, big bear hugs and loyalty to his family.
