Wayne Michael Adams' Obituary
Wayne Michael Adams, 77, passed away on July 18, 2026 in West Point, Utah.
Mike was born January 19, 1949 in Lovelock, Nevada to Arza Lephell Adams and Erma Logsdon Adams. Mike graduated from Jordan High School in 1967 and served an LDS mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil from 1968 to 1970.
Mike married Susan Whear in 1973, later divorced. They had 3 children.
He worked in retail and customer service, spending about 15 years in Las Vegas, Nevada working at CitiBank and Zappos, before moving back to Salt Lake. Mike loved his family, cars, and music. He did not love holidays, animals, or winter.
Mike is survived by his children Eric (Sabrina) Adams, Zach (Hilary) Adams, Lauren (Jared) Jacobs, and 5 grandchildren: Cassidy, Dawson, Cash, Erich, and Lana. He is also survived by his brother, Bob (Phylis) Adams and his sister Karen (Blaine) Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard and Dan, and his sister Kaye.
The family wishes to extend appreciation to the staff at Family Tree Assisted Living in West Point, Utah for their care over the last 4 years, as well as the nurses at Utah Home Health & Hospice for the comfort they provided Mike in his last days.
A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
