Weldon Barnett Williams' Obituary
Weldon Barnett Williams, age 68, died June 4, 2024, He was born Sept 10, 1955, to James Kenneth & Mauriel Barnett Williams in Provo, Utah. His early life was spent with his 4 siblings in Provo. He graduated from Provo High School and then served a mission in the California Oakland Mission.
After his return, he met and later married Linda Barbakos. They resided in Orem and years later were divorced. Weldon worked in Facilities Maintenance for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 46 years. He and Linda also ran a side business called “Well-Done” Cleaning – a play on his name.
He was a collector of things he liked - from stamps and sports cards to music he enjoyed. He loved to fish – especially on Strawberry Reservoir and at Payson Lake. Photography was another hobby that brought him satisfaction. Weldon had a special relationship with his 6 dogs especially Tootsie.
Weldon was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his sister Jill Williams, and three brothers, Clyde, Dale & Reed.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Pleasant View 1st Ward chapel (650 E Stadium Ave in Provo) on Saturday June 15, 2024, at 11 am. A viewing will be held at that same location at 10 am. Interment will be at the Crescent Cemetery located at 11105 South State Street in Sandy Utah.
