I worked with Jess at AK for the years that he was employed here. He was such a delight to be around and always positive. We have missed having him around since July and are truly saddened of his death. God bless his family with peace and love and may there be many happy memories shared.

I'll try this again because must have hit the wrong button and lost the first message.
I became friends with Jess back in the mid 70's and we became friends right away. We kept in touch for many years in the beginning but, as we all know our lives can go in different directions. We saw each other for the first time in many years at a wedding ceremony a few years ago and reminisced about all the crazy and wild things we had done. We had a real good time. We talked about getting together again and maybe go fishing. But I let the years slip past and did not rendezvous as we had discussed. And I will have a tough time forgiving myself for that. I will treasure the time we had. Already, I miss him. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family. I know this is a hard time for them. Time will heal all wounds but I will never forget him. He was a good man and will be missed by all of us who spent time with him. Russ Merritt
