William "Bill" A Foster III's Obituary
Bill Passed away on 8/26/2023 in hospital due to complications from a heart attack. He was surrounded by family and loved ones. Bill was born on 6/5/1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bill attended Granite High school, and later joined the Navy in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1971. While in the Navy Bill earned the Vietnam service medal and National Defense service Medal. He worked as an electrical repairman during that time. After the navy Bill worked for Salt Lake City as a certified mechanic for 35 years. He especially enjoyed working with Salt Lake City fire department and made many lifelong friends, He retired in 2009. He enjoyed doing many things but most of all he loved his dogs. He is survived by George (3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer), Lee (Sue) Follett, Maryann (Kim) Allred, Holly Foster Rollins, William Allan Foster 4th. 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He will be very missed.
There will be a celebration of life at Willow creek Park 8375 S. Highland Dr. Sandy UT on 9/23/2023 from 10 AM-2 PM. There we will have a light luncheon. And from there you are invited to accompany family to the Mountain View Memorial Cemetery 3115 E. 7800 S. Cottonwood Heights UT. for a grave side service.
