We are so thankful for the conversations we had and the moments we shared on April 24 with this amazing man. We had hoped to get to know him even more. We didn’t know that would be our last opportunity.
Through his children and grandchildren we feel like we did get to know him more today at the beautiful memorial service.

Bill was my wonderful wife Cheryl's favorite uncle. He was an "uncle" to me, too, and also a great friend and mentor. What a life we'll lived! We shared an interest in sports cars, history and Church topics. Most of all, he helped me win my officer commission through the Delaware Air National Guard. I had memorable experiences with him at Flight Safety International and a notorious Chinese buffet near Hill AFB. After too many years, I was overjoyed to visit with him and his family on May 27 at the beautiful wedding reception of my grand daughter, Hannah.
