Wilma Louise Thoreson's Obituary
Wilma (Willie) Louise Thoreson 95 passed away October 19, 2023. Willie was born on August 31, 1928 to Wilbert and Mildred Jefferson.
She married her high school best friend, Hal Melun Thoreson (deceased) on December 26, 1946. Together in West Valley City they raised 3 children; Mickee, Michal, and Marc. Willie worked for the DABS Liquor Store in Kearns, Utah for over 10 years.
Her grand children and great grandchildren remember the eskimo kisses that Nana loved to give saying "Nunie, Nunie, Nunie", while giving them. Willie's hobbies were camping, hunting, fishing, and bowling.
Mom, you gave us lots of love, help, guidance, and great fun memories. Which we are totally grateful for. Thank you!
Survived by her children; Mickee (Bob) Perrine, Myke (Richard deceased, Yano, Marc (Mary Ann) Thoreson. Also sister Betty Hyatt and brother, Leslie Jefferson. Also lots of grand, great and great great grandchildren. Also Sister Sharon Bingham. Special thanks to Jana Wright and Nora from Inspiration Hospice for their compassion and help.
We love and miss you mom. Private services will be held at a later date.
