Yayoi Endo Leard's Obituary
After a long battle with depression and diabetes, Yayoi Endo Leard left this world of hell for a long rest. She was born 31 March 1943 to Matsuzo and Yone Miyagishima Endo at the Poston Relocation Center on the Colorado Indian Reservation, Arizona. She moved to Utah at round 2 years of age. She graduated from Davis High School in 1961 and attended Weber College for one year taking a course in cosmetology. She worked for Fred M Nye's for several years and then went to work at Hill AFB until her marriage. After her marriage she lived in Hawaii, California, and Virginia. Her daughter was born in Hawaii. She moved back to Utah and retired from Civil service in 1995.
Yayoi was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter Bobbie Leard and son-in-law Jim Rohrer. There will be no viewing or services.
She would like to thank Carolyn and Vera Glismann, their son Todd and daughters Heidi and Laurie for their kindness, friendship, love, and understanding in her time of trouble. Also, her love for Mish Burnett, for being like a daughter to her and her son who Yayoi called her grandson. Mish, thank you for everything and I'm so happy that I met you.
