Yolanda Soltero De Hurtado, age 66, of Ogden, Utah passed away peacefully on April 10, 2021.
Yoland Soltero De Hurtado was born in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua, to Pedro and Raquel Soltero. She married the love of her life Armando Peralta-Hurtado on May 4, 1974 and they were happily married for 45 years.
Yolanda worked as a Machine Operator at Loft House bakery for over 15 years. She grew up with ten siblings: Roberto (Beto), Ruben, Pedro, Nohemi , Sara, Isela, Irma, Jorge, Raquel, and Yadira. She lived in El Paso TX and Oklahoma City. In 1994 along with her spouse made Utah their permanent home. Yolanda loved to travel, enjoyed cooking, and cherished spending time with her children as well as her grandchildren. Yolanda was so loving and kind, and her heart was big enough to make all her family members and friends feel loved, every moment spent with her.
Her smile was contagious, and all who knew her smiled and laughed when they were in her presence. She was truly an angel on earth and will be dearly missed by all.
Yolanda is survived by five children Isela (Jesus) Rodriguez, Armando Hurtado, Alfredo (Angel) Hurtado, Amanda (Abdul) Ramirez, and Victor (Angel) Hurtado. She has 16-grandchildren, as well as three great-grandchildren. Seven siblings Pedro Soltero, Nohemi Banuelos, Isela Bustos, Irma Contreras, Jorge Soltero, Raquel Gonzales, and Yadira Gallozo. She will be missed by all her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She joined many angels in heaven including her husband Armando Peralta-Hurtado, her parents Raquel and Pedro Soltero, her two brothers Ruben Soltero, Roberto Favela, her sister Sara Ronquilo-Soltero and daughter-in-law Leticia Hurtado.
Viewing services will be held at the Hurtado family home 3416 W 4375 West Haven, UT 84401 on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Flowers, donations, and condolences can be sent to the Hurtado home.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Premier Funeral Services.
