Yvonne Morgan Prince, 92, of Eden, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Jacquee and Lynn Ferrin. She was born July 14, 1924, in Shoshone, ID, the daughter of Evera and Zora Nebeker Morgan. She married Jack Raymond Prince in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in the Salt Lake area and Mesa, Arizona, the rest of her life.
Yvonne served in church callings her entire life, including a mission for two years and six months in the London England Mission; eleven years as a Hostess for the Church Office Building; and a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She graduated Kimberly High School, Kimberly ID, in 1942 and the School of Beauty Culture in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Yvonne was the epitome of womanhood. After her sweetheart, Jack, passed away in May of 1977, she was the Matriarch of her Prince Clan for 40 years: 8 children, 37 grandchildren, and 82 great grandchildren, plus 35 spouses, whom she loved equally. She was beautiful inside and out. She had integrity, a sense of humor, and quick wit. Gentle kindness and thoughtfulness drew everyone to her.
Survivors include three daughters: Laneea Brienholt, Catherine and Lane Montgomery, Jacquee and Lynn Ferrin; four sons: Scott and Denise Prince, Evera and Margaret Prince, Spencer and Tami Prince, Jack and Janet Prince, all in the Salt Lake area. Also surviving are her sisters: LaRue Prince of Mesa, AZ, and JoAnn Nebeker of Paul ID; and one brother, Lee Morgan of Paul, ID. Yvonne was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca; husband, Jack; parents, Evera and Zora Morgan; brothers Eugene Morgan, Kimberly, ID; E. J. Morgan, Twin Falls, ID; and sister Nadine Stanger, Hansen, ID.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3rd, 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel, 925 Deseret Drive, Kaysville, with a viewing prior to services from 9:00 – 10:30 am. The family luncheon will follow services at the LDS church at 270 West Burton Lane, Kaysville. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 pm at the Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 South Memory Lane, Holladay.
