Ben always had a smile and a hug for me everytime I saw him. Pauline and I were always up to something or another and Ben was never far behind asking to go along. I remember him telling stories and laughing his big contagious laugh. He had a great sense of humor and tons of compassion. I will miss Ben very much. After knowing your family for so many years it is hard to imagine him gone, he is such an important part of it. He used to tell me "your practically a Carroll" and that is how he always was, he made everyone feel like family. The world is lesser without him in many ways, but hr is off to bigger and better things. May he rest in peace.

We have a daughter who had multiple seizures as a baby. We had met Ben and Makayla just prior to this challenging time for our family. We were blessed to be their home teachers and had become friends. At almost the exact time that Ben and Makayla put her name on the prayer role of the temple, the seizures stopped and have not continued. We are so grateful for the love they showed our family and the faith they had that blessed us.
