Benjamin Lehi Carroll
Benjamin Lehi Carroll, our beloved son, brother, husband, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Sandy, Utah. Ben was 33 years old. Born on July 4, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ronald I. Carroll Sr. and Theresa Givonetti Carroll, the youngest of six children. Ben is now reunited with his wife and love of his life, MaKayla Ann Carroll (Healy), his father, Ronald Carroll Sr. and many other loved ones. Ben is survived by his mother, Terry Carroll; siblings, Kathleen Carroll (Dave) Thaxton, Stephanie Carroll, Tiffany Carroll, Ronald “Bubba” Carroll Jr., Pauline Carroll (Dustin) Thompson; brother-in-law, Madsen Healy; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
Ben impacted so many lives during his time on this earth. He was always there for anyone, with a hug and smile and a booming crazy laugh. He would do anything for anyone, spreading his service to others and his amazing attitude no matter what. He loved his family and being an uncle and was the best of friends to all he knew. Ben’s passing will leave a huge hole in the lives and hearts of so many.
Ben graduated from Jordan High School and attended SUU to study medicine. He was an Eagle Scout and loved his country.
In celebration of Ben’s life we will have a viewing Tuesday evening, February 28, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the LDS Mount Jordan 5th Ward church house located 9331 South 300 East, Sandy, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing prior from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Graveside burial service will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, in the Garden of Gethsemane located on the south-west side of the cemetery.
