Betty Holbrook's Obituary
Betty J. Holbrook passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on August 18, 2020, at the age of 95. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Mark and Elizabeth Gilchrist. She married the love of her life, Donald Holbrook and they spent 56 beautiful and loving years together. She was an amazing and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend. Her big heart, caring nature, witty personality, and love for all thing’s sports, truly made her one of a kind. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and was the most loving and forgiving woman you would ever meet. She is survived by her daughter- Mary, Son- Tom (Lori), grandchildren-Shanton (Justin), Ashley (Fiancé Dave), Nathan, and Cameron. Great-Grandchildren- Jayla, Jaxton and Sadie Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband- Donald, and sons- Mark and Greg. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 26th at 11 AM at St. Ambrose Church- 2315 Redondo Ave, Salt Lake City, UT, 84124. In respects to Covid-19, the family asks that if you attend her services, that you please wear a mask and keep your hands clean. Seating in the church will be followed by the 6ft distancing, and if you are feeling sick, please stay home.
