Carolyn Powell
Bonnie was such a wonderful woman and she and I had such a fun friendship because she was such a devout BYU fan and I am a devout Utah Ute fan. We would tease each other about those two teams especially when they played each other. I remember about 4 or 5 years ago when our teams were playing each other at a night game and she texted me and said, “Carolyn, have you looked outside at that beautiful blue sky?” I replied back saying, “not yet Bonnie because I’m still watching the game.” When it was over and Utah won I texted her and said, “Bonnie, did you see that beautiful red sunset just now?” She texted back saying, “sorry Carolyn I didn’t, I decide to go to bed because the blue sky turned dark for me and Mike.” We both laughed about that conversation over time. We loved her so much, and the love she had for people and animals were amazing.
