When I was a student @ BYU in Provo, I lived with Jeff & Colleen White. When I was home one afternoon, I recall that Grandma White was trying to get Brooke down for a nap without much success. She had to keep getting up to chase Brooke down! (We all knew about the shenanigans that tiny girl would produce)😂 The best way to get Brooke to take a nap wants to lay down with her. And so grandma white and Brooke were stretched out on the girls bed. (A special sidenote... I remember the quilt that was on the bed. It had about 12 colorful little girls quilted onto the top. The hats on the little girls covered up their face. It was so gorgeous!) Anyway, Grandma White had fallen asleep, so Brooke was getting down. I stood in the doorway to the bedroom. She accidentally stepped on a toy which made noise and Grandma White woke up with a startle. What I remember most, was what she said to Brooke while she was laughing hysterically. “Brooke White you are a little sweetheart angel of mine, but you are going to lay down with me!” Brooke never did take a nap that day!
