What a dear friend Carol has been to me over the years. ❤️ Our birth-days were only 8 days apart! We went to Granger H.S. eons ago, worked together in Mother Baby many years, & I loved her hugs when we'd often "bump into each other" at the Temple. When I visited her @ Spring Gardens just before Christmas we both knew her time was short. I reminded her that in addition to being welcomed on the other side of the Veil by her loving family, she'd see & be thanked by the thousands she had done Temple Work & Genealogy for! She smiled & nodded. 😇 I'll miss our phone calls, but know she's happy now, surrounded by friends & loved ones. Rest in peace, my friend, We'll see each other again. ❤️❤️

So beautifully written! What a tribute to an amazing woman I worked with Carol on mother baby. I was just 18 when I started, and she was so kind and welcoming. She gave the best back rubs! I also enjoyed many of her orange cinnamon rolls. She was a joy to be around.

I had the privilege of working with Carol at the hospital She was the best baker and treated the nurses with her baking skills.My favorite was her cinnamon rolls.I make that recipe all the time.I saw her about 3 months ago in the grocery store and we had a good visit.Rest in peace my friend.You will be missed.Diane Drury

It was a pleasure and honor to take care of sweet Carol during the last stage of her life. Even though she didn’t say a word to me when I visited her in the morning she smiled at me.
I feel very blessed to have met her beautiful family. My daughter Arlene Loera works with Angela Hendrix.

My husband and I (Bud & Elaine Wood) served with Carol and Stan at the Geneva Heights Family Center. It was certainly a pleasure to get to know them. We had many pleasant conversations with them about family history and life in general. We were also recipients of Carol's famous delicious chocolate chip cookies.
