Carole Ann Costello's Obituary
Carole Ann Costello, age 80, of West Valley , Utah, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on June 3, 1946, in Redwood City, California, Carole graduated from Sequoia High School before charting her own path. She eventually relocated to Utah, where she broke barriers. She was an office worker and she was extremely good at it and proud of it until she retired from doing so.
Carole was the absolute rock of her family. Known for having the biggest personality and an even bigger heart, she lit up every room she entered and never complained about a single thing. Her care for others lasted until her very final seconds, always prioritizing everyone else's well-being over her own. She was happiest when receiving visitors, sharing belly laughs that made your stomach hurt, and cheering fiercely for the Utah Jazz or watching reality competition shows or the Oscars. She also loved a good poker night—even if her terrible poker face meant everyone always called her "all-ins." Above all, her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved cat, Kirby. She love to spoil him with all the head scratches and all the Delectables he could eat.
Carole is survived by her sister, Andi; her sister-in-law, Geri; her two children, Ketti and David; her grandchildren, Nick, Noelle, and Ace; and her nine great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Elizabeth, Molly, Braceson, Brannon, Elliana, Brackyn, Swayze, and Alaric. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Stephen, and her brother, Chris.
Her family was profoundly blessed to have her. She made each of them who they are today, and they cannot thank her enough for her endless love and sacrifices. While their tears will dry up, their memories of her never will.
We love you. See you in a while, crocodile.
