I was extremely sad to hear of CAPT Hutchings passing. He was a very kind, spiritual and caring man. He was my commissioning officer at NAS Alameda who had been my role model and spiritual guide for a number of years. Since my appointment to WO-1, I have tried to emulate him in every aspect of my professional Naval career and was extremely successful. Thank you Steve for advising me of your fathers passing to his rest. I am very sorry, but with the world situation as it is, he is most fortunate to be in a Nfar better company than us. We were so sorry to hear of the loss of your parents. We (especially my mother, Relda) have so many fond memories of the many trips to St. George, for golfing. Your parents were so good to my Mother after the loss of my father, Everet. My dad was on the golf course with Cecil two days before he passed away.
