Charlee was great and pushed herself to be great at whatever she was doing. I enjoyed visiting her with my family to see her little boy Greg, to help in the garden, to eat, to play games. She worked really hard. When we met her, Steve and Charlee were in the process of renovating the house bit by bit. It was a lot of hard work and I could see the care and intent involved. She cooked and baked a lot! She was always busy doing something.
One thing I remember is how blunt and direct she was ! That was a great quality that endeared me to her because it wasn't mean. You knew where you stood and how she felt and that kind of honesty is a great trait.
Sometimes we would meet up at a park and our kids would play together. She loved being a Mom. She loved Steve. She loved her family. She was always kind to us and sincere.
Charlee, you affected my life in good ways. I am grateful for the time we had to serve each other's families. I am sorry you had to pass on with such illness. I believe that God must be ramping things up for some great times ahead to have called you home at this time and in this way. We'll miss you.
