I remember the photographer from my first wedding telling me they got some great shots of my grandpa. When the photos came back they weren’t of my grandpa Jim, but of Chuck! He stood up with his video camera and filmed the whole ceremony. The photographer assumed he was my grandpa. I love this story because it illustrates just how sweet Chuck was!! I will miss seeing him at family functions and his cheery disposition! Love and thoughts to everyone.
I only knew chuck and Edie briefly. I enjoy the Italian songs he recorded for me. When I drove from SLC to anch by telephone along the way they were very caring.I will miss him
Uncle Chuck was one of the most friendly, loving, and accepting people that I've ever met. I've never seen him without a smile, and I cherish how welcoming he was with me when I joined the family. He built a fantastic legacy with Edie: full of love, acceptance, and together they created some of the best people I know. Only a man with pure love in his heart could create such strong family ties.
I miss him greatly and his absence will be felt for years to come. My heart goes out to Edie, his sweetheart. Their love story is one for the ages.
