I remember when Charles and Joyce used to visit us, he and my father had several lively discussions about God and religion. They were both part of the greatest generation and served in the Korean conflict . That war shaped both of them in there views about God and religion in opposite directions. They were both respectful to each other and it was interesting to listen to the discussions. I imagine they will meet again now and have a chance to talk about how it turned out.
