Christopher Kieth Heriford's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that I announce my beloved brother, Christopher Kieth Heriford watched his last Utah sunrise on March 5, 2026. His unexpected departure tugs at each of our hearts.
A welder (MIG/Twig) by trade and traveler by choice. Unapologetic, he threw caution to the wind. Choosing to live untethered and care free. His love of nature and adaptability carried him through all of his days. He lived boldly and loved out loud. Christopher had a keen eye for loyalty and laughter. Enjoying life moment by moment. His presence will still be felt in the memories he created with us.
As a believer in Christ, Christopher was reunited with his mother, Dorothy May Heriford after missing her for 29 years. As well as his beloved Kevin Morrell Sr (uncle). Sharon and James (Jim) Murphy (aunt/uncle). Loving paternal grandparents Theodore and Laura Nehring.
Survived by his Dad, Donald Nehring of Mississippi. Cherished sister, Stacey (David) Moore of Florida. His beloved Aunt, Denise Baker of Alabama; her daughters Julie (Chad) Tombyll (their children; David, Cody and Jessica) cousins of California and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Mathis (their children; Jacob, Ashley Marie, Ashley Paige, Jonathan and Julia) of Alabama. Cousins Craig and Joshua Morrell of Pennsylvania. Leonard (June) Morrell (uncle) their children (Cody, Zach and Erin) of Maryland. Lynette Browand (aunt) of Pennsylvania and her children (Jolene and Kacie). Kevin Morrell Jr, cousin of California. Leonard (Shirley) Morrell (Maternal grandfather) of Maryland. Countless “brothers of choice” and lifelong friendships too numerous to name.
Christopher loved his friends and family fiercely and intentionally. As we honor my big brother, in lieu of flowers, just remember the good old days. A private ceremony will be held at sea as his final resting place will be Southern California. Cause of death still pending at time of publication.
