Cindy and I talked about each of our oldest children. She was always a joy to talk with. I love and will miss her very much. When we were at moms 90th birthday get together our niece Cyndi brought some amazing cheesecake and Cindy said to me " you can figure out how to get some of that cheesecake in a Feeding tube for me right. I told her I sure can and we laughed. She was amazing. She can be with both our babies in heaven now.🙏🏼
Lots of yummy deserts were made in her kitchen. I remember one summer I had tried a Oreo infused cookie from a soda shop and grandma and I tried many recipes to try and replicate it. We got pretty close. I remember we always put cookies to cool on paper bags on the counter.
Cindy and Clyde were our first married friends when we got married and moved to Orem. Cindy was there to help us with our first son when he was born. She was so loving and patient. It was wonderful to see her and Clyde take care of little Clyde during his too short of a time with us. I can only imagine a wonderful reunion Cindy and little Clyde are having at this time.
We were blessed to be Cindy’s neighbor for 26 years. Cindy had such a sweet personality. Making every holiday special for her family, neighbors and grandchildren. She bragged about her families talents and strengths.
Cindy received a hanging plant for Mother’s Day and named it "Petunia" She loved that plant and took pictures of it often. When Petunia was starting to wither and die, she asked Don if he would take Petunia to her final resting place. Don was very proud to strap Petunia very carefully on the back of his Harley and drove out of the neighborhood as Cindy smiled with pride. She will be missed!
