Cody Dee Jenkins' Obituary
Beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Cody Dee Jenkins passed away on March 16, 2026, at 48 years old in Anchorage, Alaska.
Cody was born to Paul M. and Jody Jenkins on May 6, 1977 in Murray, Utah. Cody graduated from Jordan High School and later received a Bachelors of Science in Aviation from Weber State University.
Cody was an extremely hard worker, even at an early age. He was always trying to find ways to earn and save money, even if it meant digging up worms to sell. During high school, Cody was a Sterling Scholar in Technology Education painting cars. At 16 years old, Cody purchased a smashed Toyota Tacoma truck, rebuilding it piece by piece until it completely functioned. He had a gift of mixing paint and applying to cars seamlessly. After high school Cody worked at Dave's Body Shop, expertly painting cars in record time. Despite these impressive skills, he still had the desire to be a pilot. Cody enjoyed traveling the world. As a pilot for UPS, he was able to be stationed out of Alaska. Sometime in between, Cody became a huge Denver Broncos fan.
Cody met the love of his life, Genevieve. Together they grew their family with two kids, Paul and Audrey. Cody adored his kids and loved being a dad. Cody recruited his family into loving hunting, fishing, and being outdoors that was passed down from his dad and a hobby he shared with his brothers.
Going deer hunting and fishing on the lake extended to bear hunting and salmon fishing in Alaska. Cody loved fast boats, camping with his outdoor toys and spending time with family. They spent as much time on their ocean boat as they could. When Cody wasn't in the air or on the water, he and his family were cruising in his 1967 restored Camaro, a substantial upgrade from the Big Wheel from his elementary years.
Survived by his wife, Gen. Children: Paul and Audrey his Mother: Jody. Siblings: Aaron (Chantel), Bret, Marni, HayLee (Heath), RaShea (Jordan), siblings-in-law, Gretch, Beth, and RJ and many adoring nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his Father, Paul M., brother-in-law, Matt Fisher.
