1949 – 2018
Connie “Chris”Colter, 68, passed away March 24, 2018 in West Jordan, Utah.
She was born May 2, 1949 in Ogden, Utah to Clair and Connie Miller Christian. Married Kent Hart April 1967 and later divorced. They had two sons Kurt (Shawntam) Hart and Troy Hart. She later married the love of her life Wesley D. Colter July 3, 1989.
Chris and Wes were avid boaters and spent many a summer on Flaming Gorge. Her favorite loves were her grand kids and her many fur babies throughout the years. She loved gardening, sewing, building computers and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Her and Wes also had a sharpening business and met many wonderful people along the way. She had a contagious laugh and loved her Utah Jazz.
Survived by a son Kurt, step son Shane Colter, two grandchildren Keaton Hart and Kohl Hart. Sisters Lorrie (Chip) White, Karen (Ernesto) Cano, brother Mike (Debbie) Christian. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Troy, and sister Sharon Young.
A celebration of her life, with lunch and refreshments will be provided from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Stansbury Club House, 42 Club House Drive, Stansbury Park, Utah.
