I met Connie and Velvet down by the river as we walked our treasured companions. We became good friends as we shared our Midwest roots. We buried my dad and her mother together with shared grief. I was also able to put in my 2 cents as she remodeled her home.. She was always so kind and sweet, soft spoken and always so excited to serve others with her beloved Velvet. I am so happy they are together!. I will miss her as I am sure so many others will, My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Connie became a friend through her service at the Goeorge E Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home. She spent many hours with Blue Velvet bringing connection and happiness to my husband, Joe. Watching the three of them interact brought me peace. Connie and Velvet personified loving kindness and where they were were, love could be felt. My condolences and prayers are with Jan, her family, and her trusty side-kick Cherie.

Connie and Velvet visited our office often. I always kept special soft treats for Velvet. Connie made my Family 3 memory pillows. Her and Cherie made all of our Beautiful Fidget blankets. She has done so much for Hospice. Connie was an amazing person, she will be greatly missed.

I had 10 years of volunteering with Connie and Velvet. We became close friends. "We didn't know we were making memories. We just knew we were having fun" I was lucky to have her as a friend. Her quiet nature brought peace to everyone she came in contact with. May she and Velvet rest in peace.
