What a great tribute has been paid to a great man! We are sorry we didn't know about this sooner. We loved Elder and Sister Anderson in the Ivory Coast mission--he always had simple solutions to difficult problems---he will be loved and missed by so many.

Dale was a wonderful man. You could just feel his energy and love when around him. I played tennis with him a couple of times when I was visiting Utah and what a delight it was. I especially loved to see how happy he made Barbara. She deserved the best, and got it with Dale. My heart goes out to you all.
Dale - you were such a big part of our lives for 40 years. My Dad, Bill Kibbie, so appreciated what an intelligent man/friend you were to not only him but to all of us. Dale wasn't afraid to seek solutions and solve problems. We may have leaned on you for advice and direction too much, but you never failed us. Rest in Peace dear friend.

After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through us.... We also want to share some fond memories of Dale, such as when we would visit his home and we would enjoy his robust laughter over everyday life experiences, or how we would have lively conversations about photography and travel. We thank Dale for how genuine his warmth and acceptance of us as his guests made us feel like family. We will miss him!
I was privileged to meet Dale years ago because of my friendship with his amazing daughter Laurie. Dale was kind and respectful towards me without exception, and he extended such generous warmth and acceptance of my husband and my children when we would visit his home. He will be missed by us. We enjoyed his laughter, it was to us a wonderful character trait and taught us about his enjoyment of life. I appreciate him for the memory I can keep of his strength of spirit, powerful intelligence and common courtesy that he consistently extended to me and my family.
