We are taught, and I believe, "we truly love those who we serve". When I was first asked to serve Dale and Vivienne as their Home Teacher, with Bro Reed Guymon, I was a little trepidatious. I had witnessed Dale in High Priest Group as a no nonsense straight shooter. He appeared kinda gruff with a rough exterior. It sure didn't happen right away, but as we returned every month, or more, with a sincere message or answer, his rough exterior began to slowly fall away. I could say a lot more, but suffice it to say, the more humble and sincere I was, the more humble, sincere and filled with love my FRIEND Dale Reynolds became. I even received the coveted invitation to go "riding with Dale". I think he found out I wasn't such a city slicker as he thought. We had a great day! As I became less physically capable of going with him on his rides, I regretted it more and more. Dale and Vivienne and Linda and Diane have been wonderful for and to Reed and me for many years. We love you all. God bless you Dale for all your service--in whatever form it was brought to pass!
