I am so sad to read of Dan's passing. He was my boss at David W. Evans. We had wonderful, though-provoking conversations, and he taught me a lot about the business. Dan was funny, warm, and always kind. He adored his kids. I'm so,so sorry. He died too young.
I first met Dan as BYU Dept. of Communications classmates in 1967. We later met again as friends and colleagues with Evans and in consulting together. Dan was a great friend and wonderful professional. He will be missed.
I was so sorry to learn of Dan's recent passing. You have my deepest sympathy in the sudden loss of such a warm, loving person.
I worked for USS Chemicals / Aristech from 1985 - 2000. I was in Florence, KY working for Don Bowman much of that time who collaborated famously with Dan for many years on advertisements, videos, brochures and much more.
I will always remember Dan as a helpful, positive person who cared deeply about his clients. I am sure his passion for business paled in comparison to his passion for family. With that, I know that your sorrow is great.

I am very sorry to hear of you loss. Dan was so very nice to my dad and to all of my family. I remember the time many years ago when Dan went out of his way to suprise me with Pittsburgh Steelers souvenirs when I visited the family in Coraopolis. A friend sent me a note when my Daddy died and told me "Those who love deeply grieve deeply." That helped me so much. I knew I would see him again and that we are family forever. I had the privelege of knowing Dan while I worked at Evan's Group. I had worked at Gardiner Ad. and when they went out of business and their accounts were purchased by Evans, I was part of the staff that moved to Evans. Dan was probably the ONLY person at Evans Group who treated me like I was a real person with a brain and a career. He was a good guy and I'm sorry to read of his loss. I hope his family and friends find peace in the memory of what a good person he was.
