Aunt Darlene sewed doll clothes for me when I was a child. Each doll outfit was a work of art; a perfect fit, carefully stitched and well designed in every detail.

I love Aunt Darlene. She was always so kind and sweet to me. I have always remembered how much loving care she showed her parents as they aged.
One of the special memories I have is when I was a poor college student attending Ricks College. I had the fabric for a bridesmaid's dress that I was supposed to wear but really no way to get it sewn. I called Aunt Darlene for help and she graciously made me a beautiful dress. I had no way to pay her- she just did it as a loving gift of service. Oh, how grateful I was. I hope to be more like her.
