She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints having served in many responsibilities including many years as ward organist and other calling using her musical talents. She loved music. She also served as Stake Primary President and as a missionary in the Employment Center with her husband Keith. She was fully trusting in the Lord and desired with all of her heart to serve Him faithfully. She had a contagious special smile and a happy disposition. She was always so grateful for little things that others would do for her.
Other interests, besides a deep love for her family included sewing, reading and in later years watching game shows and Gunsmoke. She supported and enjoyed Dad’s sense of humor as he brightened the lives of many with whom they came in contact.
She and Keith moved to West Valley City, Utah in August 2005. They moved to a senior living center in Sandy, UT (Solstice) in June 2019. We thank the residents of Solstice and Harmony Hospice for their loving care of both Keith and Darlene over the last several years.
