Pete was a real friend.
He was the first person to ever make me laugh. I was like 2 weeks old. He was one of the grandpas I never had. He will be missed❤️
Pete was that guy who rode around the neighborhood everyday to make sure everything and everybody was OK. He and Carma were regulars at the ward campout and made sure everyone knew about the date and place. One year our motor home was in the transmission repair shop with not a lot of progress being made on getting it fixed. The closer to the campout date, the more worried he became. He actually drove over to the shop and demanded they get it done by the time of the campout . It happened. Our biggest regret was hearing Pete’s story about shooting a hole through the side of his house when he was a kid and his Dad didn’t say a word he just nailed a license plate over it. After the flood Pete always said he would like to have that plate . We never made it up that road to find it and steal it 😕. Pete was that friend He will be missed.
