Darwin "Pete" Dee Peterson's Obituary
Darwin Dee Peterson “Pete”, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. He was born on January 11, 1937, to loving parents who preceded him in death.
Darwin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his wife Carma Peterson, and his son, Mark Peterson. He is survived by his children, Tracy (Robert) Ruiz, Jim (Lisa) Peterson, Dave (Bethany) Peterson, Jared (Abby) Peterson and Amy Peterson; one brother; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Darwin found happiness is the simple things in life. He had a deep love for woodworking and took pride in creating with his hands. He especially enjoyed his trips to Yellowstone, cheering on the Utah Jazz, and spending time with friends and family, who meant so much to him.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.at Premier Funeral Home 67 E 8000 S, Midvale UT. Interment at the West Jordan Cemetery 7925 S 1300 W, West Jordan UT immediately following.
