My wife, Amber Always, was Dave’s “Boss” at Vivint/Sunrun. I got the pleasure of getting to know him better when their positions went remote with Covid. Dave was such an incredible part of the team & he even went the extra mile and built a Google site that documented all of the teams processes.. which the team named in his memory “Dave’s site for everything!” That site will be added to & used by the team permanently.. to honor him. He loved his wife & children.. they were his true joy! When I introduced myself to him the first time.. he said proudly, “My wife’s name is Kimberly also, do you go by Kim or Kimberly?” Every time I would chime in on a call or team meeting, he said hearing my name reminded him of his wife. It was so sweet!! Dave had an answer for everything & was always willing to provide excellent support & share his wealth of knowledge. I remember when we discovered his old business was close by my wife & I’s favorite little corner restaurant in American Fork, Tangie’s.. we told him it had the best coffee!! He had a nic name for everyone on the team.. & told the best dad jokes! The team & many others who got the pleasure of working with him will always carry a piece of him with them!! He is very missed!

The absolute love of my life, soul mate, best friend, and husband took his life on December 28th 2021. I try everyday to go on without him but I’m not sure how to. Its overwhelming for me to think I’ll never see or talk to him again. He was my whole world!! It’s hard to make sense of something that doesn’t make sense 😭 He always tried to make me laugh. He never wanted to see anyone sad. I miss him singing classic rock, our Costco trips, his beautiful eyes, our adventures, but most importantly his kisses. I know he loved me more than anything and I wish I could have let him know I loved him just as much. Dave, when it’s my time please come for me. I love you babe, forever, the most.

Dave will always be known as “uncle dave” to me and my siblings. Dave was our overprotective uncle that always made sure to give us cluster hugs to make sure we knew he loved us. I am going to miss karaoke nights and backyard jam session with you, your smile, and all the extra “I love you’s”. The Cameron family loves you more than you know, thank you for being such a great friend and brother to my dad for decades. Say hi to our grandpa for us. We love you.

Dave made a bigger impact on our family more than he’ll ever know. He brought so much fun and light to our lives. He loved us, and he knew we loved him no matter what. He was family. I worked with Dave at Vivint Solar/Sunrun, he was really an amazing person, and I will always miss our random conversations. During our time working together, there wasn't a single day he didn't brighten up our little group with his jokes. He had given every one of us our own little nicknames, and he was always willing to give advice or words of encouragement. Work will never be the same without him.

David was a great friend and an amazing person, So Smart! So funny! But the most amazing thing about dave was his heart. Dave hated most to see another persons feelings hurt because he didn't have a mean bone in his body, such an easy person to love. One of my best friends in this life. Racquetball will never be the same. You will be missed by so may my friend. Love you Davey Jones. That's what I called him sometimes.

Dave and I met on the first day of kindergarten, with that infectious laugh of his he Proceeded to tease me for tucking my shirt into my He-Man underwear. Dave and I have been great friends from then on, from fist fights in our backyard to family get together‘s once we grew older. I have so many memories with that man it hurts to think of them. Rest in peace my friend. I love you Dave.

We were sad to hear of the passing of David. Our condolences go out to you and your family. David was one of my Cub Scouts back in 1985- 86. I had 13 Cubs in my den and David was one of my favorites. He was fun and energetic and a good friend to our son Buddy. Even though we haven't seen David for a while Robert and I have fond memories of him as well as your whole family. We will see him again! Our love to you Ron and Marlene and your family and David's wife and family.
