There’s so many things I could say, so many memories that stand out. When o was younger around of 10-13 he would walk around the house and say a famous Jim Morrison quote “ I am the lizard king, I can do anything!!” Yep he is the one who introduced me Jim Morrison and The Doors.. he, my two brothers Bryan and Jeremiah would lay on this big red fleece like pillow we named Horda from Star Trek original series episode called “ Devil in the Dark”
Whenever I was going to face something hard or scary, he would “ be of good and strong courage” at the time I didn’t realize he was quoting the a verse from the Bible and that all those years he was saying was to help gain courage for hard and new things
Anytime I’m struggling or scared I can hear my dad saying that exact saying within my mind and am no longer afraid of what’s happening or what will come!!
