This is one time where ghosting each other didn’t serve us well. I’m not even sure whose turn it was answer the phone. One of my sweet memories with David was a time when he made Thanksgiving dinner for Connor and me. David was on a very strict diet, but he made a delicious meal for us. He gave me a chance to get to see him as a father and I could tell he really loved Connor and I was grateful to meet him. David and I had a love-hate relationship in our teenagers years and only realize how much we enjoyed each other‘s company after we had met again after about 40 years. I’m grateful for all the times we spent together working in his storage unit and watching old movies. I really enjoyed the times we shopped together and he cooked for me. I really mourn the loss of my friend. I feel sad for his family, his own siblings, his nieces and nephews and his grandson. He was a good man and I will miss him. Saundra Mason
