David Jonathan Yost's Obituary
On June, 9th 12:47 AM our father and grandfather David Jonathan Yost passed away due to Brain Cancer. He is remembered for his love of all music from Frank sinatra to Guns and roses, Classic VW, Fishing, Scuba Diving, Fast food connoisseur, watching Supernatural, Poetry and his love for his children and grandson.
Dad has a deep seated love to help his children, but would often be quoted saying “You can go if you have plans, I will always be here if you need me”. Dad would often move trips or flat out cancel if any one of us needed him. This showed how important his children were to him.
My father loved to travel, due to growing up in a military family he often found himself in new places and near water this kick started my fathers love of the outdoors. He was a true lover of nature, in all forms. From fishing in the mountains of Montana to Scuba diving the reefs of Belize. My dad loved to explore. He also enjoyed new challenges, from his start up company in Sugar House that won contracts from corporations such as Chipotle and Wyoming Tourism, to his many project cars, to his greatest challenge being an amazing Dad and supporter of his children. Although we lost our Dad too early and too fast, there is no question of his love for his family.
He is preceded in death by his children and grandson: Connor Yost, Samantha Yost, Dillon yost Mckenna Yost and his only grandson Wesley Yost
