My favorite memory of my aunt Dawn was when I was about 6 I got sick and mom couldn't miss work again so of course Aunt Dawn stepped up and said bring her here she can spend the day with me.That was the day I learned who Elvis Presley was they were having a movie marathon all day on TBS! She and I sat there and watched all day needless to say I loved Elvis and my aunt Dawn more that day!!! Priceless memories! She always was there for us kids back then she helped my mom get her life back got her out of the darkness for that I am forever grateful she is one hell of a special lady!! I know I didn't get to see you much as we aged but you will always be very special to me I love you! Rest in Peace aunt Dawn❤️

Dawn was my step mom starting in the 80s she was such a tiny thing compared to my dad who was 6”6. My dad had a favorite nickname for her (Swanson) at the time I didn’t realize it was because she made him a lot of Swanson dinners😂. I remember she would put her makeup on to go to bed which I could never understand. She loved her little dog Cassie Bear Always sitting with her. She loved eating potato chips but not sharing them. She crocheted a beautiful purple n pink checkers blanket for me I loved it along with others. Lot of great memories of her and hilarious statements at the most awkward times would come out of her mouth. Now I’m the same. People seemed to enjoy it though.
