Mom,
I can't believe your gone. You passing away suddenly was so unexpected. As you know Tracy and I tried very hard to make it back to Utah in time. I hope you don't mind but I've been wearing your cardigan sweaters sice I arrived. Plus, every once in a while I lay in your bed thinking of our time together. I know you will be watching over us and I take comfort in knowing that. I've already warned dad that we are going to be more of a pain in his butt because he's now our focus. As you know we've been helping dad and each other through the grief of losing you. Take comfort in knowing that we have a wonderful support system, our family and friends have been checking in on all of us. I love you so much. You're going to be missed dearly.
